the Police Jury is offering free, Filled Sandbags that are available at the livestock pavilion off of park street in Farmerville...For Union Parish Residents only (proof of residency is required and could be a driver's license or a state ID Card).
Beginning March 13, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. LA 143,at a point 6.2 miles North of LA 616 (Arkansas Rd.) and 9 miles South of LA 2 (Farmerville Hwy) will be closed. This closure will be due to high water expecting to cover roadway travel lanes. This closure will last until high water recedes. This closure is expected to last 7-10 days according to current river stages.
